A QR code. No app. No registration. Simply scan and the live experience belongs to everyone.
Accessibility at live events often sounds like a lot of effort: special technology, complicated infrastructure, long lead times. The reality with accessify.live is different. The setup is incredibly simple: A QR code is displayed or placed. Brief information explains what's behind it. Done.
What spectators then receive directly on their smartphones is anything but small:
🎧 Real-time audio, streamed directly to AirPods or hearing aids, without delay, without loss of quality
📝 Live transcription: spoken content appears as text on the smartphone in real-time
🌍 Translations in 30 languages, as text or as audio on AirPods and hearing aids, for a truly international audience
At this year's Best of Swiss Web, accessify.live was used as an accessibility solution for the first time, produced and implemented by Winkler Live as the event producer. The fact that Best of Swiss Web, of all events, now counts among the #accessshapers is a strong statement: those who recognize digital excellence also live it.
For us, this is more than a reference. It shows that accessibility doesn't have to involve compromises, neither in the experience nor in the effort for organizers.
