Swiss Diversity: Accessibility Thought Out from the Start

The Swiss Diversity, organized by Impact2go, serves as an exemplary Showcase of how accessibility can be considered from the very beginning of events.

Even before the event, visitors were made aware of the accessify.live service upon arrival. On-site, the QR code was prominently placed on the side walls throughout the entire event. This allowed all participants to easily and independently use the service at any time.

A scan of the QR code was all it took to access live audio and live translations into various languages directly on their own smartphones. No app, no login, and no additional hardware required.

This is precisely how we understand Universal Design at events: services for greater accessibility are visible, easy to find, and uncomplicated to use. They are not provided only upon request but are an integral part of the event from the outset.
